Meet Your Tutor
Hello, my name is Emily Brennan, and I am a mathematics tutor based out of Corpus Christi, Texas! Here’s a little info about me:
B.S. in Psychology and Mathematics
M.S. in Geospatial Systems Engineering
3+ years experience as a Professional Tutor at Del Mar College
Uses a collaborative, interactive approach to learning, focusing on helping students learn in a clear and approachable way
Adaptable to different student learning styles and needs
Aims to build/rebuild the student’s confidence in the subject
Since I didn’t understand math until I started college courses, I believe I offer a unique perspective as I once was “just bad at math.” I also firmly believe no one is inherently bad at math!
Outside of tutoring, I enjoy learning, sharing knowledge, spending time with friends and family, and relaxing with my 5 senior cats. Something I find most rewarding is when students get that visible “lightbulb moment” in which it all clicks for them.
